The Word of God

John 1:1-2 NIV
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was with God in the beginning.

John 1:14 NIV
[14] The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus Christ, God and the Son and the Word all in one person. Stepping off His throne and into the womb of a woman that He created, Jesus, the Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us. He traveled on the dirt that He formed with His voice. He walked upon the water that He Himself spoke into existence. When a storm arose and threatened to sink the fishing boat He and His friends were in, He spoke and the seas were calm, an the wind was made silent.

He went willingly to His death on the cross, being beaten and nailed to the tree…..for us.

God, the very God that created our world and the universe beyond, came here in the midst of us to pay the ultimate price for the sins we have committed against Him.

God, who died for our sins was raised from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion, defeating death and sin once and for all.

Jesus Christ our God came to save us. He came to save you from sin and death.

Now that is an act of love that deserves attention. It deserves a response. Will you trust Him and follow Him? The alternative is death in sin and eternal torment in hell. He already paid the price. All you have to do is trust in Him as The Lord He is and the savior that He wants to be for you. He loves you and all He wants is your heart to fall in love with Him.

It’s your choice.

I pray you choose Jesus.
